CITB had an interesting requirement - to provide an online searchable product catalog of all their expertise - but to make it available on a large number of unknown devices, and to make it available offline.

50 Eggs proposed a solution involving an Umbraco backend (CITB already used Umbraco extensively) and a web front end - but a front end that didn't need a connection to the web to work - once downloaded it would sync data in the background, and allow normal browsing and even searching of CITB's extensive catalog.

Whenever CITB make a change with Umbraco its synced to all their users. And the users can fill out forms on their devices and the content is synced back to CITB when they connect.

This means full "as if online" connectivity when offline - in the places where CITB work - building sites and where clients are breaking new ground.
